Prince Khalid bin Abdullah : ウィキペディア英語版
Khalid ibn Abdullah

Khalid bin Abdullah Al Saud (born 1937) is a member of the House of Saud. He has extensive business interests, run through Mawarid Holding, but is probably better-known as the owner of Juddmonte Farms. As such, he is one of the leading figures in the world of thoroughbred horseracing and the list of outstanding horses to have competed in Prince Khalid's racing-colours includes the greats: Dancing Brave and Frankel.
==Early life==
Prince Khalid is one of the sons of Abdullah bin Abdul-Rahman〔("Family Tree of Abdallah bin Abd al-Rahman bin Faysal Al Abd al-Rahman" ), Datarabia. Retrieved 12 October 2012.〕 a younger half-brother of King Abdulaziz.〔("Family Tree of Abd al-Rahman bin Faysal bin Turki Al Saud" ), Datarabia. Retrieved 12 October 2012.〕 Prince Khalid's uncle, King Abdulaziz, was the founder and first ruler of Saudi Arabia. Prince Khalid is therefore a first-cousin to all the sons of King Abdulaziz and all the six siblings who have ruled modern Saudi Arabia in succession to the founder, including the late King Abdullah.〔Robinson, Patrick and Robinson, Nick. Prince Khalid's wife, Al Jawhara bint Abdulaziz, is herself a daughter of King Abdulaziz, by his wife Hassa bint Ahmed Al Sudairi,.〔("Family Tree of Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman bin Faysal Al Saud " ), Datarabia. Retrieved 12 October 2012.〕 She is therefore a full sister of the group of sons known as the Sudairi Seven, who include King Fahd and the present monarch, King Salman. Princess Jawhara is reported to have been particularly close to her brother late Prince Sultan.〔〔〔
Prince Khalid was born in Ta'if, Saudi Arabia, in 1937.〔("Breeders' Cup Bios: Khalid Abdullah" ), Breeders' Cup. Retrieved 11 October 2012.〕 He studied history in the United States and Riyadh,〔Scott, Brough. "The Modest Prince", The Racing Post, 13 June 2010. (Link to article on The Free Library ). Retrieved 11 October 2012.〕 was employed for a time at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.〔 He then embarked on an extremely successful career in business, serving an apprenticeship under the guidance of Sulaiman Olayan.〔("The billionaires" ), Fortune magazine, 10 September 1990. Retrieved 11 October 2012.〕
